CASCADE collection of local energy leadership good practices
This ‘good practices collection’ aims to offer inspiration to city experts and decision makers on how to improve the implementation of energy policies in their cities.
It contains the experience and the knowledge shared between the cities which participated in CASCADE peer-to-peer learning activities. It includes short summaries of the good practices assessed and demonstrated during these activities, as well as advice and recommendations for potential followers.
The good practices are classified per CASCADE thematic area and policy implementation key factor:
• CASCADE thematic areas: a) transport; b) buildings and district c) renewable energy sources and energy distribution
• CASCADE ‘key factors: a) Local leadership and ambitions b) Local strategies and policies c) Organisational and managerial issues d) Stakeholders and citizens involvement e) Information, knowledge and awareness f) Financing, investments and risks
